BULL, Claude Cecil
Claude Cecil Bull was born at 135 Felixstowe Road, Ipswich on 18 November 1912, son of Thomas William Bull (9 May 1876-1957), carpenter & joiner, and his wife Caroline Clara née Smith (26 July 1874-1954), who married at Ipswich in 1896. A painter of still life in oil, who exhibited at Ipswich Art Club from 135 Felixstowe Road, Ipswich in 1933, two pictures 'Still Life with Jar' and 'Still Life with Plums' and in 1937, from 19 Holland Road, Ipswich 'Landscape-Orwell' and 'Dock Scene'. In 1939, an unemployed publicity artist, living at 19 Holland Road, Ipswich with his parents and exhibited at the Ipswich Art Club again in 1942, 'Still-Life Composition' and in 1943 an oil 'Spring Bouquet'. Claude Cecil Bull died at 19 Holland Road, Ipswich on 1 January 1999, he was unmarried.
