BULL, Constance Helen

1908 - 1995

As Constance Helen Bull, she was born at Belgravia, London on 11 January 1908, only daughter of Henry Bull (born 20 January 1873), captain in Royal Australian Army, and his wife Constance Mary née Sopper (13 March 1873-1975), who married at St George’s Hanover Square, London in 1906, a sister to Richard Henry Bull [q.v.]. In 1911 living at Houghton Hill, Huntingdon with her parents, 38 year old Henry, born Sydney, New South Wales and 27 year old Constance, born Herne Hill, Surrey with the two children and retained six indoor servants. By 1924 the family had moved to Levington Hall, near Ipswich, Suffolk. As Miss Helen Bull, a member of the Ipswich Art Club 1932-1946 and exhibited from Levington Hall in 1932 water colour landscapes including ‘Broke Hall Farm’ and ‘View from Levington’, 1933 'Sunlight, Levington' and 'Somerset' and in 1938 ‘Cortina, Italy’. In 1939 she was of independent mean living at Levington Hall with her parents Henry and Constance, with eight indoor staff. As Constance Helen she died at Braintree, Essex in 1995, she was unmarried.
