PETTERSSON, Michael
Michael John Pettersson, was born at 17 Mill Road, Cambridge in 1939, eldest of the three children of Max Leopold Robert Pettersson (15 April 1914-1995), a schoolmaster, and his wife Lillian Marie née Henry (7 March 1911-28 May 1982), who married at Cambridge in 1938. After school and art school, Michael went into advertising, becoming a graphic designer and illustrator. A landscape painter, notably of East Anglia and has exhibited at Haste Gallery, Ipswich with solo shows in London. In 1992 invited to paint and exhibit at Glyndebourne for the Festival Opera Season from his studio at Stowupland, Stowmarket, Suffolk.
