BELL-JONES, Jocelyn Jessica MacDonald
Jocelyn Jessica MacDonald Bell-Jones was born on 12 September 1898. She was married to Australian surgeon Edward Charles Bell-Jones (24 June 1900-10 May 1959), MRCS and FRCS, who was house surgeon at South Devon and East Cornwall Hospital and in 1937 appointed orthopaedic surgeon to the Ipswich and East Suffolk Hospital. In 1939, Jocelyn and her husband were living at 15a Constitution Hill, Ipswich when her birth date is given as 12 September 1904. Her husband, who was born in Australia in 1900, died at Ipswich in 1959. Jocelyn was a member of the Ipswich Art Club from 1973 and exhibited from 46 Westerfield Road, Ipswich in 1977 'Conversation'. Jocelyn Jessica MacDonald Bell-Jones died at 8 Henley Road, Ipswich on 8 March 1986, when her birth year is given as 1898.
