BINKS, Steven
Steven Binks was born in the Bury St Edmund's district of Suffolk in May 1959, son of Horace Binks and his wife Doris M. née Stevens, who married at Romford, Essex in 1957. Steven studied Graphic Design at Colchester Art School, and since 1979 has regularly painted in watercolour, many of which have been made into fine art prints and greetings cards. Although his paintings are of varied subjects from portraits to landscapes, he is well known for his farming scenes, featuring vintage tractors. He exhibited at the 'Visions of Sudbury' from 1 Church Square, Bures, Suffolk in 2007 two works, a watercolour and gouache 'Free Talk at The Ship & Stour' and an oil 'Night Life-Danny's Bar'.
