HANSON, Mary
Mary Isobel Hanson was born on 3 July 1912. As Mary Isobel Watmough she married at Chorley, Lancashire in 1945, Francis Clifford Hanson (21 February 1913-10 January 2003) and painted under the name of Mary Hanson. A painter in oil and a member of the Ipswich Art Club from 1969 and exhibited from The Wick, Woolverstone, Ipswich in 1968 two works, 'Winter' and 'Spring', in 1970 'A Lane at Wherstead', in 1973 'Alton Mill' and in 1974 'Still Life' and 'Orwell towards Ipswich' she later exhibited from 99 Christchurch Street, Ipswich. Mary Isobel Hanson died at Ipswich on 27 June 1999.
