HARRISON, Kathleen Maud

1886 - 1965

Born at Anerley, London in 1886. In 1911 her father George Harrison was the proprietor of the Great White Horse Hotel, Ipswich where his 24 year old daughter was assisting in running the hotel. A member of the Ipswich Art Club 1933-1944 exhibiting two pictures from 'San Jorge', 18 Princes Road, Felixstowe, Suffolk in 1932, 'Mike' and 'The Little Blue Jug' and two in 1935 'Ferry Lane, Felixstowe' and 'Leo'. In 1937 she exhibited from 14 Constable Road, Ipswich 'A Country Garden Posy' and 'Fidelity' and she is also known to painted 'Riverbank, Shotley' and 'St John's from Grange Road'. She died at Sudbury, Suffolk in 1965, aged 79, she was unmarried.
