LALLY, John

Studied at Camberwell School of Art London under Euan Uglow (1932-2999) and gained a degree in Fine Art. On leaving Camberwell he worked in a stained glass studio in London for a number of years, which gave him an insight and appreciation into the commercial art world. Much of his professional life has involved working in education, teaching art in numerous establishments and in a number of different sectors including further education, secondary/middle schools and teaching art in a prison. John has designed a number of stage sets for the theatre including the Theatre Royal, Bury St Edmunds, one of the oldest theatres in England. He is also the author of poetry a number of which were published but his main interest and passion is in painting and the main body of his creative output. He married at Ipswich in 1978, Fiona A.
