TEAGUE, Sharon

As Sharon Marie Polden, she was born at Ipswich in December 1964, daughter of Patrick William Polden (2 February 1936-2004) and his wife Barbara C. née Green, who married at Brentwood, Essex in 1961. Sharon was educated at Holbrook High School, Suffolk 1976–1981 and at Suffolk College 1983–1985, gaining a Bachelor of Technology in Design for Print and then worked as a graphic designer for Anglian Advertising 1985-1990. She married in 1990, Andrew M. Teague and works under the name of Sharon Teague as a graphic designer/studio manager for Systems Publicity 1990-1994, before working for Ipswich Borough Council as a graphic designer responsible for tourism, sport & leisure, and art & culture. A digital artist, printmaker and graphic designer located at Castle Street, Eye, Suffolk, and the proprietor of ‘OutfluxArt’ design for businesses, creating unique prints using etching, lino, dry point or collagraph techniques. Interesting subjects are digitally combined, manipulated, and enhanced to produce striking works of art. The art is suitable for both the modern business environment and the home, providing a fresh, contemporary alternative to traditional art. She exhibited her paintings at 'Beyond the Fringe' at Thornham, Suffolk in 2006.
