BASSETT, Sally Ann

As Sally Ann Clifton, she was born at Congleton, Cheshire in 1974, daughter of Peter Clifton and his wife Linda M. née Knights [Clifton q.v.], who married in the Blyth district of Suffolk in 1968. Educated at Bungay High School 1987-1992, the University of East London 1993-1996 gaining her Bachelor of Arts in Fine Art Painting and Printmaking, and at Homerton College, Cambridge University 1996-1997. Full time teacher of Art and Design at Fortismere School, North London 1997-2004, being Teacher of The Year 'Young @ Art' in 2002, then teacher of art at Kesgrave High School, near Ipswich, and from 2007, teacher of Art and Design at Saint Felix School, Southwold, Suffolk. She married in the Waveney district of Suffolk in 2004, Richard R. Bassett, an architect. Her skills include Visual Arts, Photography and Art Education. In 2013 she was resident at Westhall, Suffolk when she contributed to the 'Westhall Secret Postcard Auction' in 2013 'Ebony Elephants' and her husband Richard contributed 'Newmills, Norwich'.
