COXON, Eileen M

1946 - ?

Born in Hampshire in 1946, in a area famed for its natural beauty and its naturalists. Eileen trained in Fine Art at Norwich School of Art and formerly living at Tasburgh, Norfolk. Eileen Coxon's early surroundings resulted in a lifelong love of the natural world. Her work is a personal and subjective response to her experience of nature. It is a slow and contemplative process which eventually makes its own demands and often results in a degree of abstraction and she is constantly searching for that duality of surprise and recognition. She has exhibited widely in Norfolk and Suffolk and occasionally in London and Wales and was a contributor to the 'Westhall Secret Postcard Auction' in 2013 'Wake-up Call'. She married in the Waveney district of Suffolk in 2003, Anthony M. Turner and lived at Old Parsonage Farm, Low Road, Brampton, Suffolk.

Should not be confused with Eileen Gertrude Coxon-Ireland 1913-2002 of Upper Stoke Holy Cross, Norfolk.
