SNITCH, Annie Jane
Annie Jane Snitch was born at Oundle, Northamptonshire on 1 October 1894, daughter of James Snitch (1863-24 September 1945), a congregational minister, and his wife Sarah Frances née Brawn (1866-1953), who married at Winwick Chapel, Oundle on 11 November 1890. In 1901, Annie was a 6-year-old, living at Chapel House, Kingsley, Hampshire with her parents, 37-year-old James and 34-year-old Sarah and her two elder siblings, John Robert (1891-1960) and James Leslie (1893-1961). A member of the Ipswich Art Club 1923-1926, once as Miss A. J. Smith, from 14 Sherington Road, Ipswich and in 1923 exhibited one work, 'Ufford'. Annie Jane Snitch died at Huntingdon on 18 July 1994, three months short of her 100th birthday, she was unmarried.
