1911 - 1996

Born at Paddington, London on 26 April 1911 and in 1939 an unmarried companion help to widow Agnes E. Hole (16 January 1867-1941),living at 1 Station Road, Beccles, Suffolk. An associate member of Ipswich Art Club 1943-1962 and exhibited in 1943 two works 'Original Sir John Leman School Building' and 'Marshland near Sternfield, Suffolk', in 1944 'Lane near Benhall, Saxmundham' and in 1945 from Rushbrook Hall Hospital, Bury St Edmund's an oil painting 'A Beccles Garden'. In 1946 she exhibited from c/o Mrs Guy Manley, 'Monien', Hotson Road, Southwold a watercolour 'Old Cottages' and in 1947 an oil 'Spring Flowers' and in 1949 from the same address a watercolour 'The Green Boat' and two watercolours in 1953 'Grazing Marshes, Beccles' and 'White House Farm, Beccles' which seem to have been her last exhibits. She obviously boarded at Southwold for her painting holidays. She died at Hastings, Sussex in 1996, she was unmarried.
