Margaret Lucy Perks

Born at Ipswich in 1923, only child of Edwin Kesterton Perks (15 December 1886-1961), a tailor, and his wife Lucy née Brereton (24 January 1887-1969), who married at Ipswich on 27 December 1916 and in 1939 were living at 74 Brunswick Road, Ipswich. A member of the Ipswich Art Club 1951-1959 and exhibited from 74 Brunswick Road, Ipswich in 1951 two paintings 'Corner in Menaggio, N. Italy' and 'Bramford Mill and Church', in 1952 'At Melton, Suffolk', in 1953 'O Peaceful England' and for a final time in 1955, a watercolour 'A Lane, Rushmere'. She lived at 18 Forest Court, Ashley Road, New Milton, Hampshire and died at a nursing home in Lymington, Hampshire on 22 December 2012, she was unmarried.
