A Mrs May Patton was an associate member of Ipswich Art Club 1959-1964 and exhibited from St Mary's, Main Road, Martlesham, Suffolk in 1959, two oil paintings 'Waiting for the Tide, Ipswich' and 'Skeletons, Ipswich' but does not seem to have exhibited at Ipswich again. The family later moved to Ascot in Berkshire and then to Cornwall. May Patton died in 1997, aged 87.
