PEEL, Paul Frederick

1929 - 1999

Born at Romford, Essex on 25 June 1929, third child and only son of Frederick Peel (21 January 1887-1950), a chemical engineer, and his wife Bertha A. née Olney (16 March 1892-1960), who married at West Ham, Essex in 1915 and in 1939 were living at 66 Castellan Avenue, Romford. Paul married at Brentwood, Essex in 1951, Joan E. Wormald and they had two children including Richard Peel [q.v.]. A member of the Ipswich Art Club and exhibited from Eastlow Hill Farmhouse, Rougham Green, Bury St Edmund's in 1978 two pictures 'Mrs. V. Bennett' and 'Welsh Village' and exhibited two further pictures in 1979 'Shoes' and 'Joan' and in 1980 had 'Capt. G.R.E.Wrench, C.E' on show. He died at Exeter in 1999.
