NIVEN, Jane
As Jane Rhona Bicknell, she was born at Colchester, Essex in 1924, daughter of Albert George Bicknell (9 August 1897-7 August 1968), a bank manager, and his wife Gladys Maud née Smith (18 January 1900-25 September 1987), who married at Colchester in 1923 and in 1939 were living at Barclays Bank House, Felixstowe, Suffolk. Jane married at Felixstowe in 1946, John Robertson Niven (died 17 May 2007) and painted under the name of Jane Niven. A friend at the Ipswich Art Club from White Gates, Parham, Woodbridge, Suffolk and exhibited in 1980, two pictures 'Chiang' and 'Summer Verges'. Jane Rhona Niven died at Parham on 10 February 2010.
