Worked for many years as a freelance, on a variety of shows for the West End, television, and Glyndebourne Opera House. Returning to the countryside, took a change in direction teaching herself watercolour painting and since the 1980ís Katie has developed her style, a distillation of the landscape, being drawn to the sea on which she has concentrated. Katie Millard has taken part in many exhibitions in East Anglia and in two groups which she started 'Norfolk Arts' in Burnham Overy Staithe for over 20 years and 'Artworks', Rougham, Bury St Edmunds for over ten years.
