HARRISON, Marguerite Dorothy Elsie
As Marguerite Dorothy Elsie Smith, she was born at Ipswich on 12 May 1916, daughter of Herbert John Smith (25 August 1880-14 February 1962), a schoolmaster, and his wife Dorothy Elsie née Dardry (28 January 1888-1976), who married at Ipswich in 1911. In 1939, Marguerite was an assistant school mistress, living at 24 Bristol Road, Ipswich with her parents. She married at Buckingham in 1944, Anthony Harrison and they were the parents of Carolyn Harrison. Marguerite exhibited at the Ipswich Art Club in 1965, from Tree Tops, Holly Hill, Rushmere St Andrew, Ipswich, 'Ballywater, North Ireland'. Marguerite Dorothy Elsie Harrison died at Rushmere St Andrew, Suffolk in 1999.
