OXBORROW, Edmund G

Born at Louth, Lincolnshire in 1950, eldest of the three sons of Geoffrey Harold Oxborrow (1922-1991) and his wife Jean Lillian R. née Forsdike (1923-1994), who married at Ipswich in 1946. He married at Newmarket, Suffolk in 1975, Valerie A. Grundon (born 1955). Edmund paints in oil and watercolour, drawings and relief prints also carving driftwood collected from local beaches and made into pictures with small birds cut from wood to add life and contrast. He exhibited at the Ipswich Art Society from 54 Bridge Street, Stowmarket, Suffolk in 1990 'Summertime at Tostock'. He also exhibited at the Reunion Gallery, Gainsborough Road, Felixstowe and the Pin Mill Studio, near Ipswich and elsewhere.
