Janet Judge

Born in London. Janet studied at Bath Academy of Art in the 70s gaining a fine Art degree in Sculpture and Etching. Following a successful career in teaching, in the late 1980's Janet became a fulltime painter being known for her colourful still life paintings but now spends more time on land and seascapes. Her paintings and garden were featured in the September 2002 'Suffolk' magazine when she had a studio at The Old Mission Hall, Mill Road, Badingham, Woodbridge, Suffolk. In 2004 she and her family moved to Tehidi, Mullion, Helston, Cornwall where she now paints the dramatic coast, boats and harbours and more recently has been drawn to the gentler beauty of the Helford River and its surrounding area but continues to paint still life particularly vibrant fruit and colourful fish. Janet has exhibited widely in group and solo exhibitions around the country including The Customs House Gallery, Porthleven; Waterside Gallery, 21 Marine Parade, St Mawes; The Lander Gallery, Lemon Street Market, Lemon Street, Truro and Aldeburgh Contemporary Arts, 187 High Street, Aldeburgh, Suffolk. She has had many images published as Limited edition prints and greetings cards.
