An award-winning artist, the interesting part of Rhonda Whitehead’s paintings is the way she manages to develop a language without falling prey to style, to the liturgy of modernist abstraction or indeed traditional figuration. She has exhibited widely including two sculptures at the Royal Academy Summer Exhibition also showing at the Royal College of Art; Royal Glasgow Institute of the Fine Arts; Institute of Contemporary Arts, London; the London Group of Artists; Fermoy Gallery, Kings Lynn; Wells Art Centre, Norfolk; Mandell’s Gallery, Norwich; and in Suffolk at Halesworth Gallery; Buckenham Galleries, Southwold; Blackthorpe Barn, Rougham also abroad in Utrecht, Holland and Ostend, Belgium.
