EASTCOTT, John Joseph
John Joseph Eastcott was born at 23 Chesholm Road, Stoke Newington, Hackney on 27 December 1903, son of John Hamilton Eastcott (27 January 1874-1941), a jobbing builder, and his wife Alice Rose née West (1879-1930), who married at Hackney in 1900. Young John married his first wife at Sheffield in 1935, Elsie Winifred Wright (1903-1958). An unknown amateur painter, his only known picture is of St Peter's church, Sudbury where he married secondly in 1968, Amelia Louise Hume (1911-1992), a widow. John Joseph Eastcott died at Colchester, Essex in 1987.
