LAMBERT, William Robert

1890 - 1952

Born at Leiston, Suffolk in 1890, son of Edgar Lambert, boiler maker, and his wife Alice Jane née Goate, who married at Wangford, Suffolk in 1886. In 1911, a 20 year old labourer boiler maker in the works of Garretts of Leiston. He married at Leiston in 1913, Amy E. Cook. An amateur painter who painted a Zeppelin being shot down over the Garrett's Leiston Works. He died at Stoke-on-Trent, Staffordshire in 1952.
