As Lucy Teverson, she was born in the Halstead district of Essex in 1972, only daughter of Richard C. Teverson and his wife Pamela J. née Wilkinson, who married at Halstead in 1968. She married in 1999, Edward T. Perry and paints under the name of Lucy Perry. Lucy took a B.A.(hons)degree from Sussex University and a Postgraduate Certificate in Education from Cambridge. Lucy Perry works as an art teacher in primary and secondary ages, up to 'A' Level Art & Design and Photography and small group workshops and art parties, spendung her free time developing her own art work in the fields of painting, printmaking, ceramics and photography. Working mostly in acrylic and in printmaking, Lucy produces both figurative and abstract pictures, small and large scale with colour and pattern key elements in her work. A member of Suffolk Open Studios from Home Farm House, Bury Road, Thorpe Morieux, Bury St Edmunds, Suffolk and of the March Hare Collective, Bury St Edmund's.
