PARNELL, Thomas Arthur
Thomas Arthur Parnell was born at 5 Ravensmere East, Beccles, Suffolk on 11 March 1913, son of Arthur Joseph Parnell (15 August 1883-29 April 1966), a carpenter on L.N.E.R., and his wife Elizabeth née Clarke (18 October 1883-4 January 1954), who married in 1905 and in 1921 were living at 5 Ravensmere East, Beccles, Suffolk with parents Arthur and Elizabeth with siblings Gladys Doreen 15, Clayton Ernest 5 and newly born Arthur Edward. Thomas married at Beccles in 1953, Doris Leah Nash (5 April 1913-15 October 2000) and they lived at 29 Darby Road, Beccles, Suffolk. A member and exhibitor at the Beccles Society of Artists 1977-1990 and his design was selected for the 1981 exhibition catalogue cover. Thomas Arthur Parnell died on 30 May 2009, and buried in Beccles Cemetery.
