FORSTER, Yvonne Marie

1960 - ?

As Yvonne Gardiner, she was born at Barrow-in-Furness in 1960, daughter of Frederick Forster and his wife Barbara née Cobb. She married at Barrow-in-Furness in 1984, Timothy P. H. Forster and works under the name of Yvonne Forster. In 1989 they settled at Bigod Close, Halesworth, Suffolk and Yvonne took a degree in Fine Arts at University Campus Suffolk in Ipswich. For the Professional Practice module of her degree Yvonne worked with World Land Trust over the course of two exhibitions creating artwork appropriate to the theme of the exhibition and the role of World Land Trust and was the first to take up the Student Spot at the World Land Trust Gallery. Colour plays an important part in her work, especially blues, oranges and browns, which she uses as a means to reflect both mood and situation.
