GEDGE, Master
Master Gedge, a son of Peter Gedge (1758-1818), newspaper proprietor & printer at Norwich and later at Bury St Edmund's, Suffolk and his second wife Ann Johnson (1769-1840), daughter of Alderman James Johnson, a mercer of Bury St Edmund's. Master Gedge exhibited two pictures at the Norwich Society of Artists in 1814 entitled 'Group of Shells'. Could be any of three sons.
