PARKE, Mary-Ann
As Mary-Ann Smyth, she was born at Hitchin, Hertfordshire in 1951. She married at Haringey, London in 1974, Peter Gaymer Parke (born 23 August 1951) and their son Matthew Gaymer Parke was born at Camden, London in 1979. Mary-Ann paints under the name of Mary-Ann Parke from 17 Halesworth Road, Southwold. A teacher at Beccles Middle School and a member and tutor on mono-printing at the Southwold Art Circle from 1991 where, for her print 'Untitled II', she won the Mona Thomson Award for Printmaking in 2015. Mary-Ann Parke died on 21 August 2023.
