CARUTH, Barbara
As Barbara G. Batt, she was born at Brighton, Sussex in 1931, daughter of William Gordon Batt (6 November 1884-6 April 1969), a dental surgeon, and his wife Phyllis Mary née Paterson (17 November 1891-1949), who married at Brighton in 1919 and in 1939 were living at 63 Grand Parade, Brighton. Barbara married at Brighton in 1961, David Alexander Caruth, and paints under the name of Barbara Caruth. She lives at Rivendell, Livermere Road, Bury St Edmund's and exhibited at Church Walks in 2012.
