Jillian Mayles was born in Colorado Springs, USA in 1982. After graduating from the University of Colorado at Boulder with a Fine Arts degree with a Minor in Business in 2004, Jillian became a professional artist. She has completed a commission from The Navigators, based in Colorado Springs and has painted two large paintings of Glen Eyrie Castle, which are now displayed in their corporate office, and two portraits of their founders. Jillian has travelled to India, Nepal, Thailand, Bangladesh, Dominican Republic, Prague, Vienna, Budapest, Barcelona, Mexico and Jamaica enriching her life and artwork. She specialises in realistic oil paintings of landscapes and cityscapes and has exhibited at Trattoria Girasole Ristorante Italiano, Pearl Street, Boulder 2004; BAC, Manitou Springs 2005 and Fall Art Festival, Glenwood Springs Art Guild Glenwood Springs, Co. 2007 and sells her work through exhibitions or through commissions. Jillian had her studio space in Manitou Springs, Denver but now in England and when her twin boys and little girl arrived, painted from her studio at home. A member and exhibitor at the Bury St Edmund's Art Society. Jillian resides in Suffolk, UK, with her husband, who is stationed at RAF Lakenheath, and three children.
