Vernon Lever

Vernon J. Lever, was born at Sudbury, Suffolk in 1946, son of Hector Jack Lever (26 September 1902-1966), a hot water fitter, and his wife Ruby Ellen née Taylor (5 October 1918-5 December 1983), who married at Sudbury in 1940. Vernon married at Sudbury in 1972, Jacqueline C. Johnson. A former builder & carpenter at Long Melford, Suffolk and on his retirement in 2006, took up watercolour painting, taking a few classes but is mostly self-taught. A member of the Lavenham Art Society and exhibited from 11 Meeting Field, Long Melford, Sudbury at the 'Visions of Sudbury' at St Peter's church, Sudbury in 2013, a watercolour 'Freemen's Great Common'.
