Danila Pampanini

Danila M. Pampanini was born on 5 April 1944 daughter of an Italian father and English mother. She studied at Winchester School of Art and in New York. A London artist and printmaker, in 1972 she opened the Warwick Gallery & Art Shop in Smith Street, Warwick with her first major exhibition of works by Brian Whitfield but the gallery was closed in 1977 when Danila concentrated on selling prints. In 2005 she was living at 223 Kings Road, Harrow, Middlesex but exhibited from Newton Road, Sudbury, Suffolk at the 'Visions of Sudbury' show at St Peter's church, Sudbury in 2013, a linocut 'Market Stall'. She latterly studied and worked at Gainsborough's House Print Workshop in Sudbury and has exhibited at Babylon Gallery, Ely.
