WHITAKER, Noreen
As Noreen Eunice Mary Woolnough, she was born in Pakefield, Suffolk on 21 July 1917, daughter of James William Woolnough (1876-1943), a sawmill labourer, and his second wife Mary Elizabeth née Cracknell (1879-1966), who married at Wayland, Norfolk in 1903. Noreen married at Lothingland, Suffolk in 1943, Leonard Whitaker (1915-1996) and painted as Noreen Whitaker. A member and exhibitor at the Beccles Society of Artists 1977-1988. Noreen Eunice Mary Whitaker died in the Waveney district of Suffolk in 1988.
