As Ann Coote, she was born in the Deben district of Suffolk in 1944, daughter of George Coote (1903-1970) and his wife Lilian Maud née Stollery (1906-1990), who married in the Woodbridge district in 1929. She married at Felixstowe, Suffolk in 1966, Roger Faiers and works under the name of Ann Faiers. Ann has been painting for several years and has been a member of the Society for All Artists since its beginning and is a member of the local Martlesham Art Group. Ann formerly painted mainly flowers before trying her hand at local scenery and landscapes. To mark the centenary of seaplane development and testing in her home town of Felixstowe she commenced the painting of aircraft from old photographs for the 'Wings over the Waves' event in 2013 which were exhibited at the Felixstowe Art Exhibition. She has her studio at 1 Rosemary Avenue, Felixstowe, Suffolk.
