Thomas Felix Thomas

Thomas Felix Thomas was born at Coningsby, Lincolnshire on 8 June 1802. He married at St Mary's Church, Chatham, Kent on 31 July 1827, Ann Davis (18 November 1805-5 May 1869). As a Unitarian Minister, he moved home several times but by 1836 was living at Handford Road, Ipswich and was preaching for the Eastern Unitarian Christian Society at various venues in Suffolk. In 1851, a 48-year-old Unitarian minister, living at Green Yard, St Peter's, Ipswich with his 45-year-old wife Ann and four children, Emma 22 and Charles 14, both born at Chatham, Sarah 7 and Edward 4, both born at Ipswich. He exhibited at the Suffolk Fine Arts Association exhibition at the New Lecture Hall of the Mechanics' Institute in Ipswich in August 1850 'A Landscape'. By 1852 he had moved on and in 1861 was living at Broadlands, Whippingham, Isle of Wight with his family. His wife died at Macclesfield on 5 May 1869, aged 63, and in 1871, a widower, living at Beech Lane, Macclesfield, Cheshire with his married daughter and in 1881 was living at Camden House, 5 Hammond Hill, Chatham, Kent with his sister-in-law Elizabeth Davies, who was unmarried. Thomas Felix Thomas died at West Bank, Heworth, York on 20 March 1887, aged 85.
