BLOSSE, Ethel May
Ethel May Blosse was born on 27 June 1916, and grew up in an orphanage and at the age of 14 went into service. At the age of 88, she took up painting and exhibited for the first time from William Wood House, Sudbury at the inauguration show of 'Visions of Sudbury' exhibition and at its second show in 2007 they included two items of Ethel's work. Ethel May Blosse died at Risby Hall, Bury St Edmund's on 2 February 2015, aged 98.
