HAMLETT, Adele Frances Elizabeth

1892 - 1990

As Adele Frances Elizabeth Pearson, she was born at Ombersley, Worcestershire on 15 June 1892, daughter of Thomas Henry Gibson Pearson, and his second wife Amy Mary Contance née Biggs, who married at Warwickshire 20 December 1884. In 1901, an 8 year old living at 31 Shakespeare Road, Bedford with her parents, 47 year old Thomas and 45 year old Amy and three siblings, John H. 15, Edward H. G. 14 and Elsie C. 11. In 1911 Adele was a singing pupil of Caroline Jelley at St James Lodge, St James Square, Notting Hill, Kensington, London and she married at Leeds in 1916, Harry Williams Hamlett (born 1892). A member and exhibitor at the Beccles Society of Artists. She died in the Norwich outer district in 1990.
