Artheads is a 'not-for-profit' voluntary organisation founded in 2007 which is committed in helping anyone with drug, alcohol and mental health issues through creativity and imagination. From initial art exhibitions they have become an established group with a permanent venue in Bury St Edmund's, Suffolk. Artheads provides a safe, alcohol and drug-free place in which everyone can take part in all kinds of creative art and music activities, and they have a weekly creative art group, music jams, DJ evenings, open mic-nights and workshops. They have lots of art and music resources and are open to accommodate whatever creative ideas that are put forward. Artheads offers a wide range of Creative Art opportunities including painting, drawing and sculpture, mixed media, printing and design. Their workshop is in the Bury St Edmund's Abbeycroft Leisure Centre, and they hold annual showcase exhibitions at Blackthorpe Barn, Rougham, Bury St Edmund's.
