DENYER, Alfred

1856 - 1925

Born at Bedford in 1856, second child of James Denyer, a schoolmaster, and his wife Charlotte Matilda née Hine, who married at Moulton, Northampton on 12 May 1845. In 1871 a 15 year old living at Princes Street, Bedford with his parents, 49 year old James and 48 year old Charlotte, with siblings Anna 19, James 9 and Charlotte 6. He married at Lincoln in 1881 Fanny Whitton and in 1891 a 34 year old art master, living at Bromham Road, Bedford with his 34 year old wife Fanny who died at Bedford in 1896. By 1900 a widower, and an artist living at Cliff Gardens Road, Pakefield, Lowestoft, Suffolk. He died at Pakefield in 1925. Author of 'Linear Perspective for the use of Schools of Art'
