NORMAN-CROSSE, George Samuel

1871 - 1912

As George Samuel Norman, he was born at London Fields, Hackney, London in 1871, son of George Parson Norman [q.v.] later Parsons-Norman, and his wife Eleanor née Clark who married at Hackney in 1865. About 1878 they moved to Lowestoft, Suffolk and in 1881, a 9 year old living at 2 Burton Street, Lowestoft with his parents, 39 year old George, an artist and his 34 year old wife Eleanor and sibling sister Pattie Eleanor 14 [Norman q.v.]. George had added the addition name of Crosse by the time of his marriage at Kensington, London on 11 September 1900, Winifred Alice Bray [q.v.] and in 1901 were living at 44 Hartington Road, Stockton-upon-Tees, Durham but by 1908 were living at Butten Haugh, Ashfield Green, Elmswell, near Bury St Edmund's, Suffolk. He died at Norwich, Norfolk, where his parents and sister were living, in 1912, aged 41.
