WORRALL, Stephen J

c.1943 - ?

Stephen J. Worrall has been living in Suffolk for over 30 years and has worked with nature all his career and has come to love the rural diversity and the honesty of it’s ‘locals’. The painting 'Confiscated' represents the earth as an atlas confiscated by some universal auditor. Hung alongside echoed images are from other parallel dimensions in the ‘cloakroom of time’ and represents our destruction of natural resources we need to live on our planet. Influences are drawn from Dali’s 'The Metamorphosis of Narcissus', and the use of folded media is inspired by Angela Del La Cruz in her use of deconstructed canvases and folded surfaces. He married at Exeter, Devon in 1997, Veronica M. Hemmings and they live at Ferry Road, Woodbridge, Suffolk.
