TURNER, Charles

Born at 1 Streatham Hill, Wandsworth, London in 1861, son of Harold Turner, master coachmaster, and his wife Mary Anne née Keer, who married at Orford, Suffolk in 1853. In 1861, newly born living at Streatham with his parents, 34 year old Harold and 27 year old Mary Ann, who was born at Orford, and siblings, Jessie 5, Lucy 3 and James 1, and Harold's 19 year old sister-in-law Emma Keer and they retained four servants. He married at London City in 1887, Ivy Lewis and in 1891 a 30 year old artist, living at Great Bealings, Suffolk with his 28 year old wife Ivy and their 2 year old son Charles Edgar who was born at Charsfield, Suffolk in 1888. In 1901 the two sons Charles Edgar and Harold George were living at 159 Brigstock Road, Croydon, Surrey the home of their grandmother Mary Anne Turner.
