1792 - 1861

Born at Alnwick, Northumberland on 26 December 1792. A landscape painter who was elected to the New Society of Painters in Watercolours in 1833. He lived in London and in Greenwich, drawing Thames views. in 1851 a 57[sic] year old landscape painter living at Dulas, Cusop, Hay-on-Wye, Breconshire, Wales with his 54 year old wife Mary M.. He exhibited at the Suffolk Fine Art Association [q.v.] at Ipswich in 1850 four watercolours 'Dulas Brook, at Hay', 'Brook Scene', 'Going to Market' and 'Cusop Mill, near Hay'. He died at Hay in 1861.
