McGIBBON, Andrew
Andrew B. McGibbon was born at Barony, Lanarkshire, Scotland on 5 April 1866, son of James McGibbon and his wife Mary née Horn. Andrew married at Liverpool in 1895, Marion Coates, a former governess, and in 1901, McGibbon was a 35-year-old artist painter, living at 1 Lorne Cottage, The Green, Walberswick, Suffolk with his 32-year-old wife Marion, born Altrincham, Cheshire, and from where he exhibited at Manchester City Art Gallery in the same year.
