WILDE, Elizabeth Maud[e]

1862 - 1951

Born at Sunbury, Middlesex in 1862, second daughter of Edward Archer Wilde (1826-1889), a barrister, and his wife Mary Penelope née Donnithorne, who married at Brentford, Middlesex in 1858. In 1871 a 9 year old living at Shooter Hill, Warren Wood, Eltham, London with her parents, 44 year old Edward and 31 year old Mary P., with siblings Mary J. 11 and Henrietta E. C. 3. with three indoor servants. After the death of her father in 1889 she came to live at The Cottage, Mill Road, Buxhall, Suffolk and where she was living in 1891, a 29 year old artist living at the home of John C. Twining 29 and his sister 26 year old Mary C. Vining, both living on their own means. In 1911 a 49 year old a visitor at Littleton Artington, Guildford, Surrey, the home of Revd George Robert Comyn Chilton, a retired clergyman, and his wife Francis Sophia and they retained seven indoor staff. She died at Kensington, London in 1851, aged 89, she was unmarried.
