Carol studied at a secretarial college, but has been painting since she left school and would have preferred to study art. Travelling took her to Kenya with the amazing sunsets which she now paints, loving the bright vibrant colours, also turning the sunsets into different hues as with the painting ‘Maasai under the Baobab Tree’ which is painted in green to add a differing dimension. Carol also take a lot of photographs to work from when she is in Africa. She mostly works in versatile acrylics and enjoy painting with a palette knife as well as brushes, as in the picture of the little boats off the Cornish coast and also paints the occasional landscape. She exhibits from her studio at Felixstowe at 'Art on the Prom' held at her home town.

Carol A. Clark married at Enfield in 1977 Eric W. Brooks.
