Caroline Gold was born in London. She studied at Hammersmith College of Art and Anglia Ruskin University in Cambridge, where she studied History of Art and Illustration. Following a career as a script editor and television drama producer, she changed tack and started illustrating for Medici Galleries, Woodmansterne Cards, Paperhouse Designs, English Heritage, and Barefoot Childrens’ Books and others and developed an association with CAP and Winn Devon, a North American Art Publishing company who, in return for open edition print rights, sold her works to all the major online galleries. Caroline sells her paintings to private collectors and has exhibited and sold at the Mall Galleries, London; Towner Gallery, Eastbourne; Clairmonte Gallery, Brighton; Upper Street Gallery, London; Chalk Gallery, Lewes and in Suffolk at Buckenham Galleries, Southwold; Blackthorpe Barn, Rougham; Suffolk Craft Society, Ipswich; Snape Maltings Galleries and Gallery East, Woodbridge and elsewhere. Caroline now lives and works in Suffolk, close to the sea.
