SCOTT-KILVERT, Elizabeth
As Elizabeth Dewart, she was born in Canada on 11 July 1917. She married at Hampstead, London in 1945 Ian Stanley Scott-Kilvert (26 May 1917-8 October 1989), an editor and translator, and had a son Alexander (1948-1995) and a daughter Venetia, but the marriage did not last, and they divorced in 1966. She painted as Elizabeth Kilvert-Scott and exhibited at the Royal Acadamy in 1981 from Orchard House, Milden, Suffolk. Elizabeth Scott-Kilvert died on 26 April 2000.
