SCOTT, Joan
Joan Sydney Scott was born at Lincoln in 1929, daughter of Sidney Scott (5 November 1899-12 August 1973), a physician surgeon, and his wife Nancie née Foulds (25 September 1899-4 October 1984), who married at Leicester in 1922 and in 1940 were living at 499 Woodbridge Road, Ipswich and were still there in 1958. As Miss Joan Scott, she exhibited at the Royal Academy from 499 Woodbridge Road, Ipswich in 1948, a sculpture. She married at Ipswich in 1954 John T Hickson.
